Voluntary Action Rotherham will run a Rotherham Council Budget Consultation for voluntary and community sector organizations to be presided over by Deputy Leader of the Council, Cllr Emma Hoddinott.
To be held at The Spectrum, Coke Hill, Rotherham S60 2HX, on Monday, 15 December 2014 from 2:15pm to 4:30pm,the meeting will form part of the wider consultation which has been taking place during November and continues throughout December. The Council is proposing three priority areas for the budget:
- Protecting our most vulnerable children and adults
- Getting people into work and making work pay
- Making our streets cleaner and better
Voluntary and community groups based in or working in Rotherham are highly encouraged to attend this great opportunity for consultative interaction. Your views on the current budget consultation will definitely be captured.
You don’t only get to meet Cllr Emma Hoddinott, but also have the opportunity to contribute to the Budget and Council Priorities for 2015/16 – 2017/18 and any ideas on other budget savings.
