DARKO MILANIC SACKED
Just after 32 days and six games (to be very precise) of his appointment, the Head Coach of Leeds United has been sacked.
Darko Milanic is a 46-year-old retired Slovenian football defender. He was appointed at the end of last month on his current post replacing the former Head coach David Hockaday permanently. Since then, he has only managed to scrape three draws, three losses but no victory. However, although the outcome had not been in the favor of Milanic, the English side had been gradually getting better on the ground, and the Slovenian coach appeared to be working out the line-up as the days went by. However, seeing that he has now been sacked, it was all in vain.
Also, Milanic confessed last week that he was not aware about every little detail about his big squad yet and so was going to come up with the best line-up very soon. But now, there’s no need for that Mr. Milanic.
The captain of LEEDS United, Jason Pearce, also stated last week that the Head Coach of the English Championship side, Darko Milanic, has still not come up with the best line-up even after a month since his selection as Head Coach of Leeds United.
Owner of the English Championship side, Massimo Cellino, declared that Milanic had been dismissed and also that former English mid-fielder Neil Redfearn would very soon be appointed to the job of Head Coach.
Moreover, Cellino was reported as saying that he has made a mistake appointing Milanic and that later has a “losing mentality”. He also said that the order to sack him has been issued and that Neil Redfearn is the man who has replaced Milanic.
Lets hope that we do not have to report another appointment on the same post in this season.
