LEEDS LINE-UP HAS YET TO BE DECIDED: CAPTAIN JASON PEARCE
The captain of LEEDS United, Jason Pearce, has stated that the Head Coach of the English Championship side, Darko Milanic, has still not come up with the best line-up even after a month since his selection as Head Coach of Leeds United.
But the 26-year-old Leeds defender is optimistic that the team will soon bring out the outcome which has eluded the Head coach ever since he has been appointed.
Pearce further said that the decision is “still under progress” and that a quite few changes have been made in the team but he hopes that they are not “too far away”.
The captain stated: “Everyone’s pushing each other and we’ve got a massive squad here. If there’s a suspension or an injury then players are pushing.
“With me, you’ve got Coops here who’s a very good player and unlucky not to have played a bit more. I’ve got to be on my toes.”
Darko Milanic is a 46-year-old retired Slovenian football defender. He was appointed at the end of last month on his current post replacing the former Head coach David Hockaday permanently. Since then, he has only managed to scrape three draws, two losses but no victory. However, although the outcome has not been in the favor of Milanic, the English side has been gradually getting better on the ground, and the Slovenian coach appears to be working out the line-up as the days go by.
Also, Milanic confessed last week that he is not aware about every little detail about his big squad yet and so is going to come up with the best line-up very soon.
