Wilfred Owen, First World War poet.
Born on 18 March 1893, in Oswestry, Shropshire, England, Wilfred Owen established himself as a renowned war poet until his death at the tender age of 25 on 4 November 1918 in Sambre–Oise Canal, France.
University lecturer Charles Mundye will lead discussions on works by First World War poet Wilfred Owen as well as his time in Scarborough.
